Words that make the sale.
Everything we publish on subject lines, email body copy, and the frameworks behind conversion-focused writing — because great flow architecture only gets you to the open. Copy closes.
Copy is the last variable, not the first fix
Most brands reach for copy first when email performance drops — rewriting subject lines, tweaking CTAs, A/B testing button colours. But copy is the last variable. If the flow fires at the wrong time, to the wrong segment, with the wrong offer, the best subject line in the world won’t save it.
That said, once your structure is right, copy is the multiplier. A well-timed email with weak copy leaves money on the table. The difference between a 15% click rate and a 4% click rate is almost always how well the email speaks to the specific reader at that specific moment.
The posts below cover the copy frameworks, subject line principles, and writing approaches that work specifically in Klaviyo flows for Shopify brands — not generic email marketing advice.
What you’ll find in this pillar
Subject line frameworks — what actually drives opens and why most subject line advice is backwards.
Email body structure — how to write for scan behaviour and get readers to the CTA.
Tone and brand voice — how to write emails that sound like you, not like a template.
Flow-specific copy — why cart recovery copy, win-back copy, and welcome copy each need a different approach.
